Information we collect
Depending on which tool you use, we may collect:
- Starter Kit / marketing email — name and email when you sign up on our landing pages
- UK company filing reminders — email, company number, optional tax dates you enter, and confirmation that you verified your email
- SEO Parasite — account email, password (stored hashed), business website URLs you analyse, generated content, and platform credentials you choose to save
- AI tools (logo generator, company name checker, pitch deck, video editor) — text, images, audio, or PDFs you submit for processing; we do not use these to train models
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic analytics when you visit the site
How we use it
We use your data to:
- Deliver the service you asked for (emails, reminders, generated content, account access)
- Operate and improve our tools and website
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Where data is stored
- Website — hosted in the UK/EU via our web host (Fasthosts)
- SEO Parasite — account and project data in Neon Postgres (EU/US, depending on Neon region) via Vercel
- Filing reminders — subscriber records in Neon Postgres
- Email — Resend (email delivery and contact lists)
- AI processing — xAI, Groq, and related APIs process your inputs to generate results; see each provider’s privacy policy
Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
- Consent — marketing emails, filing reminder sign-up (with email confirmation)
- Contract — providing tools you sign up for (e.g. SEO Parasite account)
- Legitimate interest — site security, abuse prevention, and analytics to improve the service
Retention
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe
- Filing reminders — until you unsubscribe or we delete inactive records
- SEO Parasite accounts — until you delete your account or ask us to remove data
- AI tool inputs — processed in memory or short-lived logs on our API servers; not kept as a permanent archive unless saved in your account
Email and marketing
We use Resend to send emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in every marketing email. Filing reminders require you to click a confirmation link before any reminders are sent.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to processing. Contact us at microbiz365@gmail.com. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies for ads. Essential cookies may be used for sign-in (SEO Parasite) and security (Cloudflare Turnstile on forms).
Security
We use HTTPS, rate limiting, and server-side validation on tools that process data or call paid APIs. Passwords are hashed; API keys stay on the server, not in your browser.
Children
Our services are aimed at adults starting or running businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” note at the top will change when we do.
